Healthline 2015 Best Blog Contest!

So I got this today:
Hi Jenni, Congratulations – Your blog, Jenni's Guts has been nominated in Healthline 2015 Best Blog Contest! You can see the contest here: CONTEST   Each year, we recognize and honor the top health blogs of the year with our annual Best Health Blogs Contest. The contest shines light on those blogs that have really made an impact on their reader community and provided them with valuable information and resources to help them live better, healthier lives. We are happy to let you know that you have been nominated in the contest! The contest started this Monday, December 21st and will run through January 21st. We will award cash prizes (up to $1000!) for the top 3 blogs with the most votes. Please share the page with your followers and ask them to vote for you. Users can vote once every 24 hours, so please continue to share and encourage your followers to vote!
Please vote for me.  It would be so great to win.  Honestly though, being nominated was a huge surprise to me and kinda made my whole day.  There are so many great blogs out there that deserve this and are making a huge impact on the Health Community.  I didn't even know anything about this at all.  I've stayed off the Internet so much lately I'm out of the loop.  I can't even vote for myself because I don't have Facebook or Twitter! But YOU can vote!!!
Thank you to everyone involved in this.  I really appreciate the nomination and votes so much!!

Hi Jenni! I am so happy to have found your blog! I love you already because I can relate to everything you have posted! I'm relatively new to Crohns just being diagnosed 18 months ago. But since then i've had 3 hospitol stays, surgery (ileum, cecum, 1/5 colon, appendix, a foot of small intestine, nissen fundoplication) add to that additional diagnosis of lupus, RA, enteropathic arthritis, SIBO-Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (nasty little fellers! Talk about bloating and GAS!) Not to mention depression / anxiety! But wait....the latest diagnosis...tuberculosis! Aren't I the lucky girl! I was likely exposed while traveling for work (yeah, when I still had a job!) I was on biologics Humira and Cimzia. Luckily the TB is not active but just 9 mos post op the crohns is back and they can't treat me until the TB is gone....Ughhh what a vicious cycle, right? Oh and like you I had a successful career, lost my job after 3rd hospitolization. Understand the financial difficulties all too well! I am SO HAPPY that SS diasability has been approved for you! Ive applied so it gives me hope! Thank you for sharing your journey, humor, and tears....know that YOU are not alone.

Hi Jenni :)

Sorry to post this here was hoping to find an email or contact page however I'm new to these blogging sites so here goes...

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Bethan Bull and I am an undergraduate student studying Chiropractic at the University of South Wales in the UK. I am currently undertaking my research project which is aimed at determining the perceived effects of the “Super Juice Diet”. My particular interest are the effects on those who suffer from an Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
I am contacting you as I was hoping to gain your permission to post links to a questionnaire on your forum/website. The questionnaire is aimed at people who suffer with IBD and have used the Super Juice Diet as part of their management of their symptoms, but I am also seeking individuals without a condition to act as control.
This study is a pilot of the questionnaire and methodology, which aims to also gain insight into how specific diets can help alter symptomatology. It is hoped that by conducting this study it leads to further research in the field of super juice related nutrition and it’s relation to chronic conditions.

The study has now also been opened up to people who have attempted ANY juice diet for their condition.

If you would be kind enough to allow me to have a link to the questionnaire on your site, the next stage is for me to formally apply for ethical approval. The chair of the committee is already aware of this project and does not see any significant barriers to approval being granted. My research project supervisor is Lee McCarthy.
If you would like to contact my supervisor for further confirmation or information, they can be reached on lee.mccarthy@southwales.ac.uk.
I greatly appreciate your considering this request for approval to have a link to the questionnaire the super juice site and await your response.

Many Thanks,
Yours Faithfully,

Bethan Bull (MChiro Student Year 4)

Any help would be very appreciated, the survey is very short and if you could share a link on your page I would appreciate it immensely :)

If you would like to check the survey I can forward you a link :)

I just thought I'd share with you that I just discovered your blog and you inspired me to create my own. I've been very shy and embarrassed about my Crohn's Disease over the last 7 years that I barely talk about it. But since reading your blog and all the personal things you share I felt it was time for me to break out of my shell and share my story with the world. I'm starting slowly but it feels good already. I just wanted to say thank you because you were my inspiration and that doesn't happen very often.

Good evening all,

This year I am trying my best to raise as much money as possible for Crohns & Colitis UK, following a terrible year for my sister in law with crohns, which nearly caused the loss of her and her baby. I am running the London marathon this year and have currently raised £1,496 so far. Thanks all for your time xx
